It's totally cool! Letters are actually really exciting and awsome to get, regardless of whats inside. About the blog thing. In the MTC we pretty much have no access to the Internet. The computers are extremely modified and everything is run on like a Secure Safe Surfer program. Even the way we Email is on an app. So for right now I don't think I'll be able to use the blog but I can try it out once I get out into the field.
Today we are going to the Temple to do Initiatories. My Branch President has a bunch of family names he needs done so he asked my companion and me and another another companionship, Elder Mohn and Elder Byers, to do them and then we are planning on eating at the cafeteria there. Elder Mohn and Byers are both way awesome guys. They are going serving in the Alpine mission.
Yesterday was super awesome! Every Tuesday we have a Evening Devotional at 7:00 and the guest speaker is always a General Authority. Last week was a seventy, Elder Eduardo Gavarret. Last night though, Elder Russel M. Nelson came and spoke! He gave an incredible message. It's crazy how strong the spirit is in a room with an apostle. It's something I never noticed before. When he entered, everyone stood up and before I could even see him or know what was going on, I could just feel the level of spiritualness jump. It was crazy!
Things are starting to fall into a rhythm here. Class is kinda boring but I think its because we're literally in that room from like 10:30 AM-9:00 PM. The days are super long and hard but everything is good:)
Thanks for all the food and stuff! The Cinnamon/Berry rolls and the cookies were delicious! Oh and I have a request. You can use the Money in US Bank account but I would really like the Original Soundtracks from the Lord of The Rings movies. The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and Return of the King. If you could buy those CD's and send them to me it would be awesome! Thanks!
