Well first things first, we had transfer calls again on saturday. Not much is changing. Me and Casper are staying in Neumünster and the only change in our district is that sister Killpack is going home. This next transfer is a 5 week transfer.

This last week was pretty decent. Nothing completely out of the ordinary but not the worst week either.

On Tuesday we had a service project in the morning. A member picked us up at about 9:30 and we went to a small village called Trappenkamp and we helped some members move. There is a family here from Spain that have been living here for a little bit longer than a year. They have been living with some members that speak Spanish but they just got their own apartment a couple streets away so we helped them move their stuff to the new place. We also helped remove a really big standalone  closet from the apartment of a really old lady in the ward named Sis Mengel.  After we got back from the service projects we had an eating appointment with the Nwadilim family. He is half African and she is from Holland. She served a mission in Ogden and he served in Singapore and both speak perfect English. They are a really cool family. We actually went to their house today and played music with him. He is incredible at the piano and guitar.

On Wednesday we did our normal study time and lunch in the morning and the went to Bad Segeberg to meet with Carsten, a ward missionary who we do a small coordination meeting with every week. After Carsten we met with Hamdan. He is doing really good this next week we will be starting the Stop Smoking program with him. He even told us that he would like to meet with us more often, twice a week if possible. That is actually what we want so we are pretty happy.

On Thursday we had district meeting. It's very strange because Sister Killpack, a sister in my district right now who was also in my MTC district is going home this next week. This was her last district meeting. It's really weird to see the Sisters that I came onto the mission with go home. The time is going by so fast that it is kind of scary. To think that I have less time than my first two areas is really freaky. Elder Casper had made Brownies and the sisters bought ice cream for the last meeting.  It was just a good last meeting as a district. Just kind of an interesting side note, us and the zone leaders are the only companionships in our entire zone that are not changing. We're also getting a new AP. After district meeting Elder Casper had to do a baptismal interview for an investigator of the sisters named Ify (eefee). He is from Nigeria. He is an awesome guy and is hilarious. He loves Jesus so much and literally tries to do everything that Jesus did/does. For example the sisters had to explain to him that he doesn't need to go into the wilderness for 40 days after his baptism. He listens to "Jesus Music" all the time and is basically the ultimate follower of Christ. We were all sitting there with him after the interview and Sister Longhurst asked him if he was going to shave for his baptism. He looked at her and asked why? She replied "No reason, I was just wondering. You don't have to." He then inquired of her, with complete sincerity " Did Jesus shave for his baptism?" She told him no and then he replied "Then I will not shave." We were all laughing pretty hard. He doesn't eve have a full beard though. That would be pretty epic. Apropos beards.  I'm pretty excited to get home and test out my beard powers. They have definitely increased in strength out here but I don't have the chance to really see how much ya know? Maybe you can all pray for me or something that my beard will be full and beautiful or something...;) just a thought.

Friday was not too eventful. We had a lot of time to go by on contacts and then we came home for weekly planning. Sadly nobody had interest so it was a long but still good I reckon.

Saturday was Ify's baptism. We had a normal morning and then at about 14 o'clock we took the train to Kiel. It was a really good service Ify was so excited and nervous. We rode the bus with him and the Zone Leaders and he sisters in Kiel to the church. He whole way on the bus he was listening to Jesus music and getting in the "Jesus Zone". It was a little hard to not laugh a little bit. Baptisms are always really special to be a part of. Even with this one where I barely knew him and didn't really do anything they are just kind of...emotional I guess. It always chokes me up a bit to see how excited and filled with joy they are as they come up out of the water. It was especially so with Ify. He was so happy as he came out of the water, you could see in his face so clearly the love of God filling his soul. It is hard to describe that kind of joy in words. It just fills you up. Words don't suffice. It was a special day for Sister Killpack because it was her first Baptism and the last week of her mission. She found the "one" :)

Church was pretty good yesterday as well. Elder Casper gave a talk about what the Gospel is and what mission does it serve. He did good. His German is really quite good. He has pretty much mastered the German accent. We were invited to eat at the Zicklers. He is our assistant Ward Mission Leader. They are an awesome couple. She is actually American from North Carolina and he is German. They are hilarious. I don't think I've laughed so hard in a long time. They were really nice and invited us on the spot as well because we didn't have an invitation from anyone. We finished the day with a mission wide conference call. President Kosak just wanted to give us all a little motivation. We have had a mission goal since September of 125 baptisms by the end of the year. It's basically one baptism per companionship. He also gave us a few things that he learned this last week at the Europe mission president seminar. It wasn't too big but it is kind of cool to do giant conference calls like that.

That was pretty much my week! I have thoughts out things you could put in my Christmas package. There wasn't a whole lot that I could think of. One more stick of deodorant would be really good. I have one left but I don't wan to run out and have to use the spray crap they have here;) Another thing might be kind of hard but if you could send me my iHome that would be cool. It's the one that kind of folds in the middle . I don't know where it is especially with the move but if you knew where it was that would be cool:) Just don't forget the case thing or the cord for it! The speaker that I brought with is starting to get a short in the cord so rather than buying a new one I thought it would be good to just have it sent. The last thing that I thought of is kind of weird but If you could send me some Tums I would be very grateful. They don't sell it here  I don't have any more and recently I have been getting a lot of heartburn. You can't send medication to Germany but I think tums should pass. I would prefer the kind that are the Dual action kind. For the flavor I would prefer the berry kind. These were the ones that one of my comps had and they were really nice:) Thanks! I think that was all that I could think of. Those are my only requests for now. I will tell you if anything else comes to mind.

Well I think thats everything. The pictures I sent are as follows:
1. The Tie fighter you send me a while ago.
2,3. This is a pond in Neumünster. It is really pretty but it has a weird island in the middle...
4. Me in my Lederhosen. Sorry the picture is lame but this "surprise" pic was the only one I have so far.

Well I hope you all have a great week. I pray for all of you and I love you! Stay classy and may the force be with you!

Elder Trevor Bone
