Moin moin!

I have had a great week this last week. We saw miracles and found some new investigators. The first is a guy named Ling Pong. We were doing some doors in a student apartment and he let us in. He is from China and it was super awkward because he just kept saying "ya....ya....ya" to every question and thing we said. We sat there and tried to communicate with him and teach him why we were there. We weren't quite sure if he was understanding everything and so we pulled up the church website on his computer and had him read something in Chinese. While he was reading I started looking around his apartment and a book in the corner of his room caught my eye. There was a bag on top of it and I could only see about half an inch of the bottom right corner but it looked familiar. I though about it and it came to me that it looked like the Gospel Principles book. I thought to myself. "There is no way. This guy can barely speak German and has no idea who we are" and pushed the thought aside. But it kept bothering me and so right after he finished reading it I pointed to it and asked him what book it was. He picked it up and it was Gospel Principles in German!! haha we were so confused that we just started laughing. We found out that he had contact with the missonaries years ago and had just kept the book cause he liked it. He came to the ward valentines party and we are now meeting with him.

Another was a young German family named the Erdmanns. We also found them through doors. We taught a 10 minute first lesson on the doorstep and he told us that he was excited for us to come back and tell him moor about the Book of Mormon. He had never heard of us before. We will be visiting with them again on Tuesday.

Our investigators are doing well. We had five people at church yesterday and Bahram, Omid and Josef are on Baptismal date. Omid is on the 7th of March and Bahram and Josef are on the 28th of February. They are all doing well and we will do our best to help them be ready for these dates.

We also did a cool thing this week. We drew the Plan of Salvation with chalk in a park. We had a bunch of people stop and talk to us and then a couple of days later two teenage girls called us and for 25 min or so I talked on the phone with one of them answering questions and stuff. She was sincerely interested and had good questions but my favorite was definitely "Are there Unicorns in heaven?".

Last week we went to the St. Michaelis kirche and I included a bunch of Pictures. It was super windy up on the top so that is why my face looks so funny.

To your question moom. Yes you can buy Birkenstocks here. There is a store here in hamburg. I don't know how much they cost here though. They are apparently a really old sandal though. They have been making the type of sandal for like 230 years.

Well I hope you have a good week. I love you!
