Hey Guys!
Thanks for letting me know about the Bank card. I don't know of anything right now but I think it would be kinda fun to get a suit or something in Germany.
The time is flying by here. Things are really starting to drag out and the classes are getting kinda boring. Especially since we're in the same classroom for like 9 hours. I think I sent you a picture of the classroom.
The language is coming along well too. I still wouldn't consider myself fluent but I know that most of the language skills will improve and solidify once I get to Germany. My Branch President told us "Learning German here in the MTC is one of the least important things that you can do. The most important thing you can do is learn the language of the Spirit, because the Spirit speaks great German."
Also I should be getting my Travel Itinerary sometime in the next few days, possibly tomorrow. I already know that I should be flying to Germany on June 11 but I'll be sure to let you guys know details so that I can call you from the airport.
I actually put a letter in the mail yesterday for Emily. I don't know if you've got it yet but it should be there soon if you haven't!
I just got back from the Temple and It was pretty Interesting. I got to do Sealings! My Branch President had a bunch of family names again. As missionaries we're not allowed to stand in as Husband and Wife but we can stand in as the children. It was pretty fun and interesting. It's crazy when you can almost feel the joy from those on the other side of the veil when you do the work for them, especially sealing a family together.
Last week when my District and me were at lunch, a guy came up and sat down with us. He talked with us about the MTC. What we liked, what we would change and what not. He didn't have a name tag on so we asked him who he was. He told us that he was a Seventy and the Managing Director of the Missionary Department. Basically his job is to oversee and be responsible for every single missionary. He then told us that he was the speaker at the Devotional that Sunday. At the Devotional, he had us stand up in front of everyone was was crazy. But the best part was his talk. At dinner he had asked us what was one thing we wished we had understood better coming in to the MTC and we said relying on the spirit. After he had us sit down, he told everyone that he was prompted by the spirit minutes before he stood up that he needed to talk about something else. He abandoned everything he had brought with him and gave a 50 minute talk. It was one of the most spiritually power full talks I have ever heard. It was funny because he would stop mid-sentence say he just had a prompting and then ask the tech guys if they could pull up a video of MOTAB or something. But then he would talk about it and I'm pretty sure it was exactly the message that everyone needed to hear. The spirit was seriously so strong during some of his prompting moments that it almost felt as if my very existence was on fire. It literally was an incredible example of relying on the spirit and the power of the spirit in teaching and he didn't even give the talk he was going to. It was a perfect night because then right after the devotional we got to watch Sister Monson's Funeral.
I think that is everything. Sorry if my grammar is bad or if anything I try to say is hard to understand. I don't have a ton of time to proof-read:)
I love you guys!
May the Force be With You!
