Guten Tag meine Familie!
I do have my travel plans! According to the plans I got I am flying straight to Amsterdam and then to Germany but I've heard from some of the teachers and other missionaries that we have a stop in Minneapolis. I'm sure i'll find out later and i'll do my best to let you know. My flight out of Salt Lake is scheduled to leave at 11:11am on June 11. I have to report to the travel office here at 7:30 in the morning so I'm guessing we will get to the airport around 9:00. I bought a Phone card here at the Bookstore so I don't need you to send me one. I also have about 650 in cash left and then the US Bank card so I should be fine to pay for bag fees. I'll call from the airport so just try to let me know which phones to call so I don't waste my minutes on the card. It has 500 and every call whether the other end picks up or not uses 130 mins. So as not to have this happen I'll call the number first using a quarter and if you pick up, I'll hang up and call again using the card. Cool Cool!
I'm glad the T-Swift concert was good! I'll definitely have to go to some concerts when I get home!
You wanted some details of the MTC so i'll try my best to describe it a little. There are 4 beds in every room and our zone is all on one floor of a building. Our building has 4 floors with two zones on each floor. I think we share our building with the spanish elders but i'm not sure because we dont ever see them. The cafeteria is basically a buffet but the food is not that great. It's alright but it's nothing to get excited about. My companion is from Clovis, California. I usually want to play soccer or use the bikes in the gym so we have to do a companionship swap pretty much every gym time. He also was a dancer It's all good though we get along well enough to teach our lessons and do what we came here to do.
Every Tuesday and Sunday we have a devotional. Tuesday is a General Authority and Sunday is an Honored Guest. Yesterday we heard from Tad R. Callister of the Presidency of the Seventy. It was a great talk about using the New Testament as a Blueprint for the church. The Honored guest are cool too though. One of the people that has spoken on Sunday was Chad Lewis, a former NFL player who played in the Super Bowl. He was a good speaker but mostly the Sunday speakers are just random, prominent members.
The MTC is cool with all the Devos and things that are here but I'm deffinitely getting tired of the class and the monotanous schedule. THe language is also coming well. Our teacher, Brother Hogan told us that we can already speak better than he could after four months in Deutschland. I don't believe it but hey, I must be doing alright;) I'll have to show you when I call next Tuesday! I'll try to take some pictures of the MTC and stuff and send them to you later along with anything else I can think of:)
Oh one last thing. If you're going to send that last package I would do it soon. We can only get packages on weekdays until 6pm and on Saturdays until 2pm. Our schedule makes it really hard to make it to the mail room before they close. I can get letters after they close but we have to get packages from the workers. Thanks!
Ich lebe Sie!
