My talk yesterday went well. I had people tell me that it was good and that my German was great for only being here for 3 1/2 months and that they could understand everything I said! It was sweet! Well I don't have a ton of time so here was my week.
Last Monday we unfortunately didn't do anything super exciting. We just kind of chilled and relaxed around Meißen.
Tuesday we had a couple of people to go by and then we did some doors in the city of Radebeul. THat night we also played volleyball with some members of the ward.
Wednesday we had normal study and then we had our meeting wiht our ward mission leader. After that we had an appointment with the Familie Ortlieb to eat lunch and help Samuel with English.
Then on Thursday we had Zone Conference. IT was so cool! I got to see the missionaries from Halle again; Elder Roggow and Sister Katalin. It was a way good meeting and it's just fun to be together with a large group of missionaries. After that we tausched with our district and I went to Freiberg.
Friday I was in Freiberg with Elder Breitenstein. We did a little SK and then we had a member appointment with some members, the Schiebolds. This is here things get interesting. We were talking and I told them that I was from South Jordan, Utah. Then they said that they had some friends who live in a place called Daybreak. I was kinda suprised and asked if it was the Dzierzons. They said that It was! Then I told them that the Dzierzons live in my ward! They then laughed and said that they have been to our ward! They were visiting the Dzierzons and came to our ward and They bore their testimonies! I vaguely remember but I remember when they did! Then I told them that my dad was the Bishop and he said ''Wait! Is he a medium_height man with black hair?'' I laughed and said yes. He said that he knew where I live and he had met with Dad or something like that! It was pretty funny and cool to see how small the world is. Oh and they said to tell the Dzierzons hi! Then we met with an Investigator they have from China. His name is Liu. He was such a cool guy who had a Baptismal date last week! It didn't go through because his wife won't give permission. He had so much faith! When the baptism didn't go through he send the Elders in Freiberg a text bearing his testimony of the work and the Church. We set another date for next month and he is going to keep talking with his wife. When he said the closing prayer the spirit was so strong and the words he said were so incredible that both Elder Breitenstein and me were crying by the end. Such an Incredible experience!
Saturday was pretty slow and we didn't do a whole lot. We spent some time going through maps and I wrote my talk.
Then came sunday! We had church where I gave my talk. It was good. Then we had lunch with Mama and Papa Ortlieb. You'll be proud of me because I ate Mushrooms;)
Well that was pretty much my week! It was a solid week and the Time is flying by. I hope your week is great and awesome! Oh and I don't have time to explain but I will probly have P-Day on Tuesday next week. Just don't be suprised if you don't get an Email on Monday!
Ich habe sie alle lieb!
Elder Trevor Bone
President Monson dedicated East Germany for Missionary work back when it was still the GDR. The place he did it is in our area and we went to it. It was so cool!
Love you Guys!
