Oh man. What a week. This last week was really long and just had a lot of...strange events haha. Thank you for the recipes! I've definitely branched out this week and I'm excited to have more of a variety. As far as chicken and beef they are slightly more expensive but not too expensive. Don't worry too much about Germany not having most stuff. As far as groceries things are pretty similar. I should be able to find most anything you need as far as a recipe.
I don't have very much time this week so I will only be able to tell one story. So on Thursday we had our meeting in Berlin. Oh what a long day. We had to catch our bus at 4:11 in the morning to make sure we caught our train in Dresden. So you can imagine my horror when I rolled over and saw the numbers 4:25 on my alarm. We had both slept through our alarms and had to quickly get ready and just try to catch the soonest bus we could. We ended up missing our origninal train and then the next possible one by about 5 minutes. When we were checking for next times we found that the next possible train left at 9:04. The ride is about 2 1/2 hours and we were supposed to be in our seats at 9:30. We called the APs and explained our problem and they said to just try our best. Basically we sat in the Trainstation for about 2 hours and then had to pay €70 to upgrade our tickets. That was the money I took out of the account. I should be able to get it refunded so don't worry about that part. Oh it was a horrible morning haha:) THe meeting was great especially when we walked in 2 hours late;) It really was good though and it was fun to see some people from my MTC group. I also got my package! Thank you! I ate some of the M&Ms and had some MT. Dew with my bath this week;) We found this store in our area thats a lot like walmart and they have Mt Dew normal and code red and also Dr. Pepper. Outside of Coke, american soda is hard to find so i was pretty excited! After the meeting we had some time before our train left so we looked around Berlin witch was awesome! We got to go to the Brandenburg Gate and another statue that I think was like the Michaelangelos Archangel or something like that. I'm not entirely sure. I included a picture of both of those and also a beautiful sunset we saw. The last was just my flag hung up in my room. I've done the Pledge of Allegiance every morning since I got it;)
