Hallo familie! I don't have as much time because i spent so much time writing personal emails. I'm not going to give a day by day but I'll jsut try to give some of the highlights. Also another thing/request that i forgot.. I am running low on food options and the same thing is getting kind of old. I was wondering if you could Email me a bunch of recipes. Just choose a bunch of simple things that I could make and eat haha. Anything would work but the more simple the better because of time and money. I would really appreciate it!! Speaking of pictures I didn't really take any pictures this week so i don't really have any to send. Sorry!
Well this week wasn't super exciting. Not a whole lot out of the ordinary happened. On Wednesday we had District Meeting in Dresden. Right now the train from Meißen to Dresden is running so we have to take busses. It takes about an hour and a half so it's a long ride on a normally crowded bus. Because of this travel time it took pretty much the whole day. We had a little time at the end of the day but basically just studied and went by a few contacts.
On Thursday night we went on exchanges and had to go to Dresden again.
For Exchange our District Leader, Elder Breitenstein wanted us to deep clean the appartment. It was pretty dirty when I got there and hasn't been cleaned really well in a while is my guess. You'll be really proud to hear this. On my mission i have come to appreciate cleanliness. You can thank Elder Briner for this one too because for some reason his habbits have kind of rubbed off on me. I like my area and my room to be clean. I can finally understand why you always tried to get me to clean my room and keep it clean. I get in now haha!
Saturday we went by a few more contacts.
My talk went well in church. I got to choose my topic because ''I'm a missionary'' haha:) I talked about Answering Gospel Questions. It went well! I hope all of your talks went well. Just be glad you got to give them in English haha;)
That was pretty much my week. This Thursday we have a big meeting in Berlin for all the missionaries in Eastern Germany. We will have to catch a bus here in Meißen at 4:11 in the morning to initiate our journey so it should be a wonderful day;) I should get the package while I'm there too so that should be fun also.
