What up Familie! December 16,2013

Well another week is passed. Once again it feels like just yesterday I was emailing you. This last week was good and we had a lot going on. I'll start off with what I did.

On Tuesday we didn't do a whole lot. We went to a city called Coswig and did some work. Went by a contact and just some normal finding activities.

Wednesday we did some preparation for a finding activity we had to do a survey. We spent some time preparing for it and then we went out and tried it. It didn't work so great but most people just didn't want to talk with us:) Then we had lunch with the Ortlieb family. We spent a little time packing for the meeting the next day and then went to be a little early because we had to wake up at 3:30 the next morning.

Thursday we woke up at 3:30 and we actually woke up on time this time! we caught all of our trains and everything went smoothly:) We heard a few talks by the AP's and then Sis. Kosak gave a good talk about the true meaning of Christmas and our gift to Christ for his birthday. It was good. President then gave his talk  on perseverance. It was a really good talk! Then we had lunch. IT's alway nice to have a meal prepared for you haha:) After lunch Pres. Kosak gave another short little address and then we watched 17 Miracles! It was a really fun day. I like these meetings because it's fun to see all my friends from old areas and stuff. There must be a bunch of people that I know in the west part of Germany cause I didn't recognize as many people but it was still fun:) I also got your package and one from Grandma and Grandpa Olsen. If there are more packages out there then I haven't gotten them yet but I will so don't worry about it. If that's all of them then it's not a problem:) I will open them on Christmas but Elder Peterson went through it and got the tree out and stuff.

On Friday we had Weekly planning and then we actually set it up with a member, Sister Anderson, to go to the Temple!!! SHe picked us up and drove us to the Temple in Freiberg. We actually got to see the session in English too. They run an english session every Friday so we went to that one. It was a much needed recharge. We got to do some family names for Sis. Anderson too. Overall it was just really nice and made me happy:)

On Saturday We had the Ward Christmas party. It started out with all of the youth in the branch putting on a play of Snow White and the 7 Dwarves. It was really funny and good! Then we got a visit from the Weihnachts man or Santa Claus. He even had presents for the Elders haha! We had to sing for them though... Most awkward Away in a Manger ever...;) Oh ya! Earlier in the day  we stopped by an Investigator named Stanley and we had a great lesson with him and committed him to read and pray daily. He said he would  try his best. We actually ran into him on the way back from groceries today and talked with him, reminding him to pray and read! He's a funny guy.

On Sunday we had church and then had lunch at the Vogler family. The Krujatz family was also there so it was like a little party. We ate and then celebrated 3rd Advents with them. Advent is basically just the 4 sundays before christmas. It was an incredibly awesome  time and was really fun to have fun with the members. We went by a contact in coswig and finished with study.

Well that was basically my week. To answer a few questions. If you send a package you should send it to the mission office. With only a few weeks left this transfer and It being Christmas time it could take longer and I could get transfered before it gets here. I would also like to ask if you could send me some replacement razors. THe one that I have been using is the on I brought from home. I was using the electric one but it just tears my neck up and I get really bad burn on it. The razor iv'e been using is a Gillette Fusion ProGlide. I don't know if they sell that kind of replacements here or not but I just know they are expensive and the one I'm using is getting dull after 8 months or so:) I don't know If they sell replacements for the electric one or not. but I don't think I can find them here.

I thinks thats everything. I love you guys so much. Oh ya! For skyping I think we will be planning on the 25th at around 7pm here so around 11-12 noon for you. If that doesn't work than we can try to change the time and day so jsut let me know and we will solidify details next week.

Love You!

Elder Trevor Bone
