I had a pretty good week. First off thank you all for praying for Jürgen. We met with him a couple times this last week and he came to church! This is the first time in 4-5 months that he has come to church. We were so stoked and excited! The members were really good at welcoming him and making him feel welcome. I have a lot of faith in this man. He will get the motivation he needs. I believe he already has it, He just doesn't know it yet. He has a testimony and he said he want's to stop. Ahhhh! it's great. Missions are awesome.
I didn't say much about my comp last week so I included a pic this week. His name is Fred Roberts and he is from Cincinnati, Ohio. He is legitimate. Seriously, we are like bros.
I'm not going to go through each day this week because there wasn't a whole lot of crazy special stuff that happened. We just did a lot of finding and met with Jürgen two times. We also met with a man named Herr Thunert. (Herr means Mr.) He is an old man in his 80s who lives in an old people home. It's kind of ironic because he is a crazy strong Catholic but the rest home is run by the Protestant church:) We read a chapter of the BoM with him and then talked about it. We usually read one chapter per visit (every Sunday). We read 1 Nephi 5. At this rate we will be finished in 5 years from now;) haha no but he is cool. He truly tries to understand but he is usually skeptical because the it's all new scripture to him. We are showing him that the doctrines are the same and the BoM only enhances what the Bible teaches. He takes it really well and I believe that he is slowly getting a testimony. He gets all excited when we use the Bible to show him how what the BoM is teaching is also in the Bible. It's good stuff.
We had a great week. We also have Ping Pong every Friday. There is a member named Bill and he is from Afghanistan. He is so legitimate. He brings a nonmember friend to literally every activity and church meeting he comes to. It's funny because I didn't expect to meet so many people from a ton of other countries but I have met so many different people. A TON of Africans. There are so many people from Africa and they are seriously one of my favorites types of people.
Oh the money I took out last week was to pay for a German Drivers License. Booyah! Don't know if I will ever be in an area with a car but President wants everyone to have one.
Allright I believe that is everything. I hope you all have a great week! Ich habe Sie Lieb!
Tschüßi!
