Moin moin meine liebe Familie!
I hope you all had a great week! Once again my week was pretty legit. On Tuesday I went on exchange with Elder Brindley in Celle. It was pretty cool and we got to help out this member dig a garden in her backyard. She also gave us pizza and some really good juice. We switched back and then did some finding. We are trying out a new tactic. We just walk up to people that are smoking and start talking with them about it. Then we bluntly just ask if they want to stop. We've gotten into some good conversations and we're going to keep trying it. It's insane how many people smoke here. We're pretty much planning on ridding the world of cigarettes because I'm tired of having to deal with breathing and smelling smoke all the time.
On Thursday we had a fun activity with the youth here. We went over and had dinner at a member family, The Grossman family, and two of our investigators were there along with a bunch of the youth. It was really cool. The ward here is really good at helping us have opportunities to teach the investigators with members present.
Friday night we had a ward dance party! It was pretty fun. Me and Roberts got to play a song as well. Hallelujah. He played guitar and I sang. Haha sounds just like me doesn't it? A little performer I've become. Not really, it still bothers me to be in front of people:)
Saturday we went to Celle as a district and did finding together. We all went on splits with members of their ward. We did doors for three hours and the very last door we did was a young single mom about 23-25 from Kazakhstan. She spoke good German but her ancestors were Russian. We talked with her for like 45 minutes. I wish I had time to tell you more about her but basically she is 100% prepared and ready for the gospel. She is totally gonna get baptized.
Yesterday was ward conference which was pretty cool. Hoang, the guy who got baptized last week got the Holy Ghost yesterday. I got to stand in the circle and be a part of it. It's really amazing to watch someone get baptized and truly come to an understand who God is. Jürgen didn't come this week but we're still meeting with him two times a week.
Well that was pretty much it. It's fun to see pictures of the house and other stuff. I hope you all have a great week. Love you all. Darf die Macht mit Ihnen sei.
Tschüssi!
Elder Trevor Bone
