DEUTSCHLAND IST WELTMEISTER! July 14, 2014

Moin moin meine Lieben!

Deutschland has won the world cup! haha it was fun last night. The game wasn't until 21:00 here so we were at home and in bed when the game ended.  Everyone here is crazy and last night when the game ended at like 23:30pm it wasn't hard for us to figure out who won. We were laying in bed and then we just heard this rumbling off in the distance followed by the sound of fireworks and cheering. The low rumble turned into a chant of "Deutsch-land" and it was pretty crazy for the next couple hours. We were inside but it sounded like a madhouse outside:) But I'm proud of my second country for winning. Even though I enjoyed it before the mission I am now definitely a fan of "Soccer".

But it was also a very good week. Stavros is still on tract to get baptized this Sunday. There were some conflicts with the ward here so it is now on Sunday instead of Saturday. His interview will be this Wednesday. It was announced to the ward this Sunday so we are pretty excited:)

We found a new person this week is well! We were walking through the city and some Africans stopped us and asked if we were Protestant. We told them that we were the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or "Mormons". They stared at us for about 3 seconds and then asked" so...are you protestant?" I laughed and smiled a bit and said "No, but we are Christian." The lady told us that she just got to Hildesheim and has been looking for a church to join. We told her that we would be more than happy to help her find a church and we gave her the church address and got her info as well. She is out of town for a few days and then we will meet with her.

We also had exchanges this week. I went to Celle with Elder Loitz and Hall stayed here in Hildesheim with Bankhead. It was nice to go to another city. I still really like Hildesheim but I haven't had the opportunity to leave for a few months.

I still like to hear that things are going well with the new house. I'm glad the neighborhood is cool. I'm excited to come home and meet all of our  neighbors;)

Careful 'round dem "witches" mom...shake thyself from the dust and arise! Shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. haha I just laughed at myself for even writing that;) hahah cool cool.

I hope that you all have a great week filled with cool stuff. Pray always that ye may come off conqueror! Love you all!
