Moin everyone!

I hope you all had a great week! I will apologize for my short emails because I got multiple "complaints" this week regarding my short emails;) It's just really hard to respond to all the emails I get sometimes. Some weeks I get less than ten and then other weeks I get 15-20. Sometimes I have to send stuff to the mission office as well. I am still writing emails with Stavros though. Elder Hall told me he is taking my transfer pretty hard and they haven't been able to meet with him for the last 2 weeks. He responded to my email but it was really weird and hard to understand.

So I'll try to finish the story from last week. There isn't a whole lot more to tell though. We talked with that guy for like an hour and a half about a lot of stuff. He had multiple friends in college who were members and had lots of conversations about the church. He has read the BoM and knows almost everything. He is agnostic but leans more in the direction of atheism. He is however very nice and funny and told us he would love to meet with us again and talk more about God and our church. However he told us that he doesn't know if there is a God and that he DOESN'T want to know because he thinks it's better that way.(Too much bad stuff has happened in the name of God). We'll see if we can change his mind;) Our appointment with Frau Jürgensen fell out but we have another one for Wednesday. The appointment with the Farsi man was ok. I don't know how much interest he had but we'll see.

This last week was good though. We met with some of the people the sisters were meeting with. Two boys, Douglas and Michael are 15 and 11 years old. They are members that were baptised last year but are now inactive. Their father is an American from California who is also a member. He has a testimony and knows the church is true but just doesn't want to be active (Doesn't want to follow the word of wisdom) He wants his boys to choose for themselves but also really likes the church and wants them to come. He will drive them every week to church if they want to come. They are cool boys but people like their dad really bother me. I understand that we all have agency and must choose for ourselves but at the same time it frustrates me to see people set bad examples for their kids and then want their kids to make the "right decision". Of course the kids aren't going to want to come when they see their father not go and not keep all the commandments. Whatever, I'll stop raging:) We also had that ward Summer party so thats what the two pictures are:) It was ok but there weren't too many people there. I should have taken more pics but I forgot. Sorry!

We have a couple of appointments this week, one of them being tonight. We'll see how they all go! We still spend a lot of time doing finding and there really isn't a ton of exciting stuff happening. That may also be attributing to the shorter emails. Oh yah! I forgot to tell you that on Sept. 13 Elder Bednar is doing a conference for our mission. The whole mission will go to Berlin to see him speak. It should be pretty cool:)

I also got the package this last week. Our Zone Leaders had exchanges with the APs and they brought it with. haha no I did not wait to open it and no I haven't eaten everything yet. Thank you though for everything. The little star wars metal model thing is really cool. Hard to build but still cool:) I'll have to take a picture and send it to you.

Well thats all this week. Thanks for everything! My birthday will be good but it's definitely strange turning 20. Not sure how I feel about that one...I love you all! Have a great week!
