Moin moin Familie!

This week was a little bit slower for us because we have both been sick. Elder Aust was sick from Saturday
to Tuesday and then on Thursday night I started to feel sick. Friday I woke up feeling pretty crappy and have been feeling pretty sick since then. It's basically just been a sore throat and sniffles. It's super cool.

We didn't spend a ton of time outside trying to find people because we've been sick bit we did go to the appointments we had.

On Wednesday we work at the Tafel, which is a food distribution service. All the grocery stores in the region donate food that they can't sell anymore and then it is all collected and given to poor and homeless people. We pass the food out to the people and we do that every Wednesday. After the Tafel we go downtown to the Institute center at the Stake Center. We can go as long as we have an investigator with us and we were bringing Angela. It was kind of strange but she ended up not coming because she was at the hospital all day because she was having issues with her eyes. She has possibly an infection in her eye and keeps seeing black spots. The doctors weren't quite sure what was wrong and now she is just waiting for the results of the tests they took. We found all of that out on Saturday night when we met with her at the church. She is doing pretty good but is still pretty worried about what's going to happen to her eye.

Thursday we had District Meeting and then had an eating appointment that night was when I started feeling sick. All that day I felt kind of out of it but it was that night that my throat started to hurt. I've gotten like maybe 3-4 hours of sleep each night since then because my throat and nose. It gets dry and swollen and just hurts all night long. I'm loving it.

We had a 5 people at church yesterday which was pretty sweet. Omid, Oliver, Frau Bogunia, Bahram, and Francios. Frau Bogunia is a polish lady that we have met with once but she can't speak German super great so we need a joint teach who can speak polish. Bahram is from Iran and is super awesome. I don't know what it is with Iranians and converting to Christianity but
they are all over here.

That was pretty my week. The rest was kind of us just resting in the apartment and trying to get healthy.

It is kind of funny to be in another country when the Super Bowl happens. Literally nobody here cares. We heard from maybe one member about it. They just don't care here haha. It's all about fußball which started up again in the last couple days.

Well I got you a picture of Elder Aust and Kingsley, my "pet" ladybug. I found him on the brink of death in our bedroom and brought him to the other room where my plant is. Now he lives a wonderful life on my Alpenveilchen:)

I love you all and hope you have a great week! Oh and the travel plans sound good;)
