Ich liebe jeden P-Day weil es den tag ich mit Ihnen sprechen kann. Google translate is´nt very good so I will translate. I said ´´I love every P-day because I can speak with you.´´
Last Monday we did our normal P-Day stuff and then just had a relaxing time in the appartment until we had to go to Leipzig to tausch with the Groitzsch Elders. Elder Roggow went to Groitzsch and me and Elder Briner stayed here in Halle.
On Tuesday we didn´t have to much planned. We did normal study and whatnot. We did a little SK before we had lunch. We had Schinken Noodle Gratin. I´m pretty sure I sent you a picture of it a while ago. Then for the rest of the day we went by some contacts that we had and then had an appointmet with an investigator named Herr Beleites. Cool old guy with old house filled with really cool old books. He acctually had an old friend stop buy and so we had to move the appointment to Thursday. Then we went to Leipzig to pick up Elder Roggow.
Wednesday was a pretty good day.We had District Meeting and then had luch with the rest of the district. That was when we had lunch with the Sisters in the church. After lunch we went by on a contact that we went by on Tuesday that wasn´t home. He still wasn´t home. Then we wen´t to Mücheln and did Doors for like 3 hours. This was when we found the doormat that I included in the pictures;) Nobody let us in but it was still fun!
Thursday we started out with study and then at about 10:30 Elder Beesley from the Mission Office came by to deliver some new chairs for the appartment and a few other things. He also had my package with him so yep i finally got the package. Thank You! I´ve already decorated a little bit;) Thanks for all the cards and other stuff too! I really appreciate it. We did a little bit of doors and then went to our appointment with Herr Beleites. Once again he was busy so we made an appointment to come back the next day.
On Friday we didn´t have too much. We had an appointment with a man named Noel. He´s from Burkina Faso. He didn´t show up and then we had an appointment with Herr Allewelt. It went as usual. We will probly try to stop meeting with him. It´s sad but he is´nt making any progress. We then had our weekly English class and the Sisters taught the lesson. After English we helped the church get ready for the next night, Nacht der Kirchen.
Saturday. Nacht der Kirchen and Elder Briner´s birthday! We got to help out at the Soup Kitchen with the Nuns again. It was so fun and the Nun we worked with was super funny and nice. Then a member named Mark come from Leipzig to visit Elder Briner for his birthday. He is good friends with him and came all the way just for his birhday so it was pretty cool. After that we played Fußball with the bishop´s son and one of his friends who is not a member. Then we had Nacht der Kirchen. It´s basically where all the Christian Churches have an openhouse and a ton of people come around and ask questions. We had about 60 or so people come by. It went from 19:00-23:00 and we had permission from President to stay as long as it lasted so we didn´t get home until like 11:45. We were so tired the next morning but it was fun!
Sunday was fairly normal. Church and then had a couple of Eating appointments with members and one lesson by an Investigator, Herr Beck, that we will probly also stop meeting with. He just doesn´t want to meet with us further.
Today I also took out some money so that I could get a screen cover for my Ipod because it doesn´t have one. I also wanted to get some hair clippers so that I could cut my hair myself. We did emails after everything so thats why I had to tell you afterwords. Sorry! Also sorry If I don´t answer back a question in your emails to me! It´s hard to remember and with limited time, sometimes I just go. I do think I´m losing a little weight though. My pants are seeming a little big. but I still have a belt!
Well that was pretty much it. Things are all good here. Ich habe Sie alle lieb!
