It was a pretty good, long week. THings are differen't here with my new comp. His name is Elder Brandon Peterson and he is form Santaquin, Utah. He is really cool and we are getting along proper good. He loves to cook so lets just say that things are going a little bit better in that department:)
TO be honest, and I assume this is the part that you can edit out;) haha, but things are going so much better than with Bean. We worked the whole week haha. It sounds funny but it's nice to just have a comp who is ready to hit the pavement running.
Now for a more serious note. We have done a ton of planning and praying together and we have come to a big deciscion. We have decided that we WILL have baptisms here in Germany. Too many people are saying things like ''Germany. Oh you'll have a lot of good food but don't expect too many baptisms.'' We are going to change this. We actually went to the mountain site where Pres. Monson blessed the people and land and we prayed and studied looking for answers to how we can get the blessings Promised in the blessing he gave and all the other blessings that have been prophesied and promised. We recieved the answer that the Lord is ready to open the heavens and bestow those blessings upon these people. He is trying to give them but our faith is not strong enough. We have the faith and I know that we WILL have the success the Lord wants us to have. What I want to ask you is for your help. I want you to have this faith as well. I want you to honestly believe and to EXPECT baptisms here in the ''hard areas''. Tell everyone! I want people throughout the church to change their minds about Europe. These are blessed places and the people need Jesus Christ in their lives. But we need more Faith! :) We need every member to believe in the promises that have been promised! I know this sounds like a lot but we are starting a war! Me and Elder Peterson are waging all out war on Satan. Satan has worked so hard to get a hold on the Hearts of these people. Right now he's winning. But he will not win. That much we do know. We are on the Winning side and we are hastening our pace. This is a marathon and we are approaching the final stretch. We will fight Satan on every street and in every place that we enter. Germany will change. We will stop at nothing to bring the gospel to these people. I hope that from this paragraph you can feel even just a sliver of the urgency that is burning in my chest. We need all members to expect a change in Europe and to EXPECT success, not just good food and experiences. These are children of god and the gospel does not change. We will have baptisms!
Sorry, I'm just a little pumped up right now. I literally just want to scream from the rooftops right now:) But let me tell you a little about our week with what time I have left. We worked a lot this week and unfortunately it was a lot of doors with no real success haha. I don't have a ton of time to give specific details but know that this week was incredibly better work wise. We even did our own little Thanksgiving dinner with a whole chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggies, and a cake thing we made. It wasn't the same without all of you but it was the best we could do:)
I'm really sorry that I keep having to cut it short but I need to go haha. I really love you guys and I'm so thankfull for everything. Things are getting better! I'm definitely excited for this next transfer. I'll try to spend more time next week talking about what I have done and what I'm doing. I wish you all a great week and hope that you all think about me just a little ;) haha Love you!
