Hallo Familie! January 13, 2014

Hallo!

Sorry it took so long to get you the email but we had to split up the time and now I am writing this:)
Unfortunately I don't have a ton of time because I had written part of the email but it didn't save my draft and now I only have a few minutes to write this:) This last week felt super long. I'm not sure why but it feels like forever since we had a P-Day. I'm glad that everything is going well with the house and that things are going smoothly! I'm also glad to hear that I am being considered for the new house:) I also enjoy hearing about swimming! haha there is a pool that is right next to one of the stops on the train we ride a lot and I always want to go and swim a few laps when I see it. It's almost painful;) Because of time I will simply share a few of the experiences I've had this week.

We were doing doors the other day in a town called Priestewitz. We rang the door bell on this house and a man and his son answered the door. The boy was probably 11 or 12 years old. We just started a standard approach and the father told us that he wasn't interested and that we had the wrong house. We told himi we klingel everyone and that we are just sharing a message. He said that he understood but that he just wasn't interested. We then asked him if he knew anyone that would be interested and then he pondered for a second and then asked his son if he knew anyone who would have interest in a church. The son thought for a second and then gave us the name and street of one of his friends who he had thought of. They were really nice about it and were jsut cool and chill about it. We didn't have time to go find the friend but we will go look tomorrow actually! IT was cool to get a referral from a nonmember!

Today we also had a surprise/miracle at the Internet ladden. A few months ago I gave the owner of the Internet place a Book of Mormon in arabic. He is from Egypt and speaks arabic. Oh and his name is Herr Disouky. We explained a little bit about ''Die Mormonen'' and then he told us he wanted to just try to read the book and that he would. he told us that he is Muslim and he knows that his religion is true so we shouldn't expect anything from him. Then today while we were in the middle of our email time he asked us if we had time this week to go get something to eat (Döners) and talk more about ''the Book''. We were really surprised and excitedly gave him our information again and set up an appointment.  We're pretty excited to see how things turn out and see what he has read and what not.

The Gospel is true, family! I know it! Things are going good here and we are definitely seeing an increase in miracles from the Lord. I thank you for your prayers and your faith because I know that they are helping so don't stop haha

I love you guys! I hope you have a great week. Spirit guide you and may the force be with you.
