Moin moin!
I guess I will start off by saying that I don't have any pictures because I forgot my camera at the apartment. Sorry:)
Well this week wasn't boring but there just wasn't a lot that happened. Anything out of the ordinary that is. Just wake up and normal study time and then taught people. We did have exchanges this week on thursday. I was here in Neumünster with Elder Burri. He is from Switzerland so thats kind of cool. We taught George again and it went really well. On Saturday we had a meeting in Delingsdorf, a city outside of Hamburg. It was for all the District leaders, Zone Leaders, Bishops and Ward Mission Leaders in the Neumünster stake. It was really long and basically took our entire day. We left at 11:00 in the morning and didn't get back to our apartment until like 8:30 at night. It really wasn't anything super huge either. Just a little bit of information and a reminder to start planning for Christmas.
Oktoberfest sounded fun. It's kind of interesting but Oktoberfest is only celebrated in the city of Munich. Ok well it is kind of celebrated everywhere else but the real "Oktoberfest" is only in Bavaria and more specifically Munich. That whole part of the German culture is actually only from Bavaria (Lederhosen, Dirndl, Pretzels and other stuff). Bavaria is basically the Germany that everyone thinks of when they think of Germany but it is actually only that one area down south. It's actually a state of Germany. Bavarians are kind of like Texans are in America. They are very proud of the fact that they are from Bavaria and if you ask them "what they are" they will tell you "bavarian" rather than German just like Texans will call themselves Texans before they say Americans. I can't honestly say that that is 100% true because I haven't ever asked but thats what all the members here tell us. Now I didn't say all this to say that you were wrong but just to inform you. Bavaria is probably my favorite part of Germany even though I've never been there. I'll have to explain why some other time:)
Sorry we didn't get as much time to do emails today cause we were busy so this one is going to be rather short. I know you all hate that but theres nothing I can do about it now haha;) I'm super excited to hear General Conference this week and hope you are too!
Again I'm sorry for the lame email this week but I do love you guys! Have a great week!
